The first project of Qiaoshun which was appointed by the local government for public leisure. It locates next to the charming Beijiang River, at the end of the Phoenix City Bridge, right in front of the City Council building. The 30 meter high contemporary Phoenix sculpture is where the Plaza got its name from, it symbolizes the fire spirit and energy of the city. It is a public use Plaza, built to provide leisure space for the city residents. It is divided into three areas, fitness area provides gym equipment to exercise, theatre area provides a 100 meter space between two 10*10m outdoor LED screen and a basement parking area fits up to 400 cars. The Plaza also has got a laser light music fountain to facilitate the vibrant atmosphere at night. The Phoenix Plaza has become the most popular place for city residents to hangout and exercise. Most of the major outdoor events such as New Year Art Show, exhibitions, food festivals, Chinese New Year, Moon Festival city fireworks etc all chose to be hosted in this beautiful Plaza.
